ahh just found this and i realized that i miss my college life so much. this is for my screen printing task. our lecture asked us to make a t-shirt with our own design related to indonesian culture. so i made this koteka (penis gourd) worn by native male papuans, hoping that someday this will be one of the most popular icon in indonesia as popular as the famous andy warhola’s. haha sorry. i don’t know why i say sorry actually.
my friends did a great job with this assignment! unfortunately i don’t have any pictures of them :( i miss my college friends!!!
bored while waiting for the updates of my itunes. i have to wait until +/_ 40 minutes and thinking what should i do in 40 minutes? so i decided to draw random thing that pop up in my mind. i feel like i’m in my comfort zone lately. too comfortable and flat. i wanna see something weird. i wanna see pink elephant. i believe i’m going to see yeti someday. i believe that fish has charisma. i wanna see hawaiian people playing uke.
well basically i’m bored and i can’t sleep.

Got a chance to spend couple of days in bali. A bit rainy in the morning and night, but very sunny in the afternoon. spent most of the time in seminyak. too bad i didn’t do any water activities because i was there for 3 days. If i have much time, i wanna see dolphins at lovina, snorkeling and diving and also do bungee jumping for the second time. I’ve bungee jumped before when i was 9. My big sister and my cousins challenged me and don’t know why i’m easily accepted that challenge. even though i bungee jumped with the coach from there (The coach have to balance my weight), but in the end, i’ve got a jumbo t-shirt, a certificate, and a VHS video because i’ve made it. I think that was my first certificate i’ve got. a bungee jumping certificate and i’m proud haha because i never achieved anything at school :/
Not so long time ago, me and my friends have been engaged with this kind of thing. yes. Designing cd cover for Jakarta Blues Festival. And did i tell you before? the client of this project is a member of my fave band, chaseiro and i’ve got their autographs. hehehe. we did the illustration, typography and also layout except that djarum super logo and ina blues festival. too bad we can’t watch the show..
Had so much fun with ma dogs this evening. Last time i walked out my dogs, my whole body was really hurt. They were ran out like crazy monsters. very energetic and hyper. Definitely need cesar millan to come to my house.

This is my final project, this box set talks about Guruh Gipsy, a prog rock band from indonesia in 1975. i decided to make this because i love their ideas, songs and i appreciated their efforts. it’s been almost 30 years.. and lately, people from all over the world are talking about this band. ironically, many indonesians still don’t know about this band.

Merry christmas people! finally, one of the most exciting moment of the year is come. just attended christmas celebration here and there, gathered together with families and friends. Here i give you one of my fave song by josh garrels. i know it’s not a christmas song and this song look like a sad song but who cares? sad song always make me happy hehehe.
*i used to make a christmas card or something fancy, but i didn’t get a chance to make it. i don’t know why. i should have to. i wanna make a thankful card for my friends. thanks for having me as a friend, something like that. Because christmas is not about feast and glamorous thing. christmas are sharing and caring.
